Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.03%

Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil&Gas, Industrials and Personal&Household Goods sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.03%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.16% or 86 points to trade at 7476 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 1.09% or 6.8 points to end at 628.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 1.04% or 1.1 points to 111.9 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.70% or 13.6 points to trade at 784.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.60% or 4.4 points to end at 270.2 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.67% or 1.3 points to 193.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 55 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.44% or 0.76 to $53.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.20% or 0.70 to hit $58.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 7.35 to trade at $1511.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.8071, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4691.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 98.833.
